We’re glad to share that CROP Project has been invited to take part to the ENCATC Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
ENCATC brings together leading educators, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and artists in the field of cultural management and policy from all around the world, and we’re excited to be part of it.
Our programme manager, Angela Di Benedetto, will present the results of the project in Barcelona.
From the concept note of the Congress: “In a world increasingly shaped by ecological uncertainty, democratic fragility, digital acceleration, and growing inequalities, the Congress affirms that culture is not an ancillary domain but a structural condition for human flourishing. It is through culture that societies generate meaning, strengthen social bonds, and imagine alternatives. Culture enables people and institutions to develop the emotional, ethical, and intellectual capacities required to navigate change—not only to sustain systems but to transform them. Under the theme The Future Is Cultural: Policy, Practice, and Education, this year’s Congress invites reflection on the strategic role of culture not only as the backbone of well-being for individuals, communities, and organisations, but also as the backbone of society itself.”
