AHEH project was presented at the first edition of IPiE conference (International Perspectives in Education) celebrated at the Buxton campus of the University of Derby on 12-13 october 2018. The IPiE conference is open to researchers and professionals studying in varying fields of education from preschool education to higher education, from teacher education to educational technologies. It has been organised by a consortium of six European universities from six countries – K.U. Leuven University – Faculty of Economics and Business (Belgium), Mytilene University (Greece), Slupsk University (Poland), University of Alcala (Spain), Izmir University of Economics (Turkey) and University of Derby (United Kingdom) – that will organise next event in the spring 2020 in Mytilene (Greece).
The aims and intellectual outputs of AHEH project were presented as part of the talk “The contribution of Erasmus+ projects to education and employability” by Carmen Santamaría-García (University of Alcala, Spain) and Oliver Holz (K.U. Leuven University, Belgium) and arose the interest of participants who were eager to know more details and will surely follow the website of the project for updates.

In 2017 the consortium of International Perspectives in Education (IPiE) was founded. European universities from six countries – Belgium (with the Faculty of Economics and Business), Greece, Poland, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom – organise this event on a yearly basis. The IPiE conference is open to researchers and professionals studying in varying fields of education from preschool education to higher education, from teacher education to educational technologies. The first edition was organised at the Buxton campus of the University of Derby on 12-13 October 2018. The conference theme was ‘Education and Equality’. The conference offers an international and interdisciplinary stage for presenters and participants from all around the world. Within the large scope of the conference, IPiE is hosting practitioners and researchers from diverse backgrounds and provides a space for debate, reflection and exchanges on new developments and approaches in education.
Save the date: the second edition will take place in Mytilene (Greece, spring 2020).
