In Sustainable well-being, services and responsible food services are developed, while equal and participatory youth initiatives are promoted, along with the renewal of competencies and working life. Collaboration occurs within a network that includes companies, public organizations, third sector operators, and other development organizations.
In Logistics and seafaring, logistics and maritime research and development activities are primarily conducted through national and international projects. Collaboration occurs across all modes of transport.
In Forest, environment and energy, research and development of new products, production processes, and measurement and monitoring solutions are conducted in the fields of bioeconomy, bio-based and circular economy, and the technology industry. Expertise and laboratories excel in bioproduct and fibre technology, wastewater purification, environmental safety, wood modification, and energy technology.
