Cultural Learning Alliance: employability and enterprise

We are happy to share the second briefing paper of Cultural Learning Alliance – Employability and enterprise – on “Why the arts make us more employable, and why the creative industries are our international economic life-raft”.
An interesting paper on the value of cultural and creative industries in UK and the role of education in opening new job opportunities in the culture and arts sector to students and young people. A very interesting document for the work AHEH partnership is doing since as the paper says: “there are growing numbers of jobs in these sectors, but equally the skills developed by studying arts subjects are the very ones that employers across the economy tell us are the most important for the future of their industries – 21st-century skills like decision-making, team-working, flexibility and originality.”
